San Juan offers a number of private beaches for your enjoyment. Once you get there, you can lounge endlessly into the warm sun while drinking piña colada.
The Isla Verde Beach is considered the most beautiful beach in Puerto Rico. Its pristine waters and exquisite facilities make it one of the tourists’ favorite spot. While in Isla Verde, tourists can indulge in seaside strolls, ocean dips and sunbathing. You can also enjoy the various watersports and activities. The nearby sports vendors provide a plethora of services and rentals, from banana boats, jet skis to parasailing.
Bahia Beach is the ultimate, luxurious and beautiful private beach in San Juan. This two-mile crescent-shape beauty is carefully nestled in an area of lush marine vegetation. Most people you will see in the Bahia Beach are owner of townhouses, villas, luxury estates and hotel condominiums. What’s more is that the oceanfront Robert Trent Jones, Jr golf course is just a few miles away. There are also many quaint and delightful shops that are wonderful for your vacation shopping.
Another fairly secluded beach is the Flamenco beach located on Culebra Island. This beach features three mile strip of pristine waters and great white sand. It provides for wonderful picnic place for families. It is also not crowded like the other resorts in San Juan. Picnic tables and restrooms are available for use. There is also a campground and some smaller inns which visitors can stay in for the night.
